2. Information we collect

Enquiry details you provide. When you use the contact or estimate form, your email app opens with a message addressed to us containing the fields you completed: full name, phone number, email address, site location, service or trade selection, dimensions or specifications, timeline, your message, and your consent confirmation. Nothing is sent until you press send in your email app.

Spam-prevention checks. Forms include a honeypot field solely to block bots and abuse. No accounts, tracking pixels, or third-party verification run on the forms.

What we do not collect here. This website has no checkout and shows no prices, so we do not collect payment details. Please do not send passwords, bank details, or other sensitive information through the forms.

3. Why we use your information

• To receive, understand, and respond to your enquiry or estimate request.
• To prepare a tailored, priced quote based on the scope you describe.
• To arrange follow-up calls, site discussions, or office visits you request.
• To protect the website against spam, fraud, and misuse.

We rely on your consent (the agreement checkbox on our forms) and on our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us — consistent with Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843). We use your details only to handle your request, never for unrelated marketing.

4. How enquiries are handled

Enquiries are sent by email only to our approved inbox at Shengliconsult@gmail.com. In this release there is no customer database, CMS, or message queue: your enquiry arrives as an email so the team can respond. Access is limited to the people who need it to handle your request.

If email delivery is ever unavailable, the form tells you immediately and provides direct phone and email alternatives so your request is not lost.

5. Who we share it with

• Your own email provider, when you press send in your email app to deliver your enquiry to our inbox.

We do not sell enquiry data and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Our sourcing networks in China, USA, and Dubai concern goods and suppliers — your personal enquiry details are handled in Ghana and are only shared across borders where strictly necessary to fulfil your request and with appropriate safeguards.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails only as long as needed to handle your request and any reasonable follow-up. If you ask us to delete your enquiry information, we will do so unless a law requires us to keep a specific record — in which case we will explain what is kept and why.

7. Your rights

You may at any time:

• Ask what enquiry information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct anything inaccurate.
• Ask us to delete your enquiry information.
• Withdraw your consent to be contacted about your enquiry.

To exercise any of these rights, email Shengliconsult@gmail.com with the subject “Data Request” and tell us your name, the phone number or email you used, and what you would like us to do. You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.

8. Security

Forms are validated before submission, protected against automated abuse, and transmitted over encrypted connections. No secrets are stored in the website code, and enquiry content is never written to logs. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so if you notice anything suspicious, please tell us promptly using the contact details above.

9. Cookies and analytics

This site uses only what is technically necessary to run. Analytics (Vercel Analytics page views and Speed Insights performance metrics) and any non-essential cookies are enabled only after you give consent through the consent banner. Embedded maps load only when you interact with them.

10. Children

Our services and enquiry forms are intended for adults arranging construction, engineering, sourcing, or trade work. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us on your behalf.
